This site describes a range of educational techniques, for use in the classroom, to meet various additional support needs. 

Learning and teaching

I have 23 years of experience in teaching children with a variety of additional support needs and specific learning difficulties. 

Here, I would like to share some of that experience. 

This site highlights the most effective techniques for helping young people with a range of additional support needs. However, no two children are the same - their very individuality can make teaching them a great challenge.

Why this site?

The internet already holds a vast amount of information about additional support needs. But I could never find all the information I required in one place. 

As a result, this web site is intended to provide ready access to information - on additional support needs and on relevant educational techniques.
